I love France. I love weddings. I love food. So when all three of these combined this autumn, in the wedding of Louise and Phil at Chateau Rigaud in the Bordeaux region of France, I was a very happy chappy, and it was my honour, along with Mark (amazing work my friend) to pop over to capture their big day. Louise had secretly booked a legendary party band, Bright Lights, as a surprise for music loving Phil.. a really sweet idea, and I had a lot of fun being in on it, steering Phil away from the band’s tour bus after we had wandered the vineyards at sunset for their portraits. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, the staff and chefs at Chateau Rigaud utterly lovely and super talented, cooking in front of guests during the afternoon, a rich combo of scallops and oysters. I think Louise & Phil, with help from their lovely planner Sarah (And Then We Got Married) got it just right, the chilled atmosphere and great food and drink, along with the great music..  it all made for an amazing day that I will never forget.
