Usually a quiet, drab month spent dreaming of Spring and booking a Summer holiday, January for MVW has been- in my favourite new word- Epic!!!

I love Paris. How it looks, from the alfresco cafes in winter (committed people watchers got to hand it to them), the patisseries, the cafes, fashion and architecture through to the different vibes in each arrondissement and even how on most metro lines you only have to go down one flight of steps to board the train. I don’t really need an excuse to visit Paris but as part of the relaunch of the website, I wanted to get some profile images of Gemma Louise and I which suit the romance which defines Modern Vintage Weddings.

 

The inaugural Wedding Industry Awards 2012 took place at Cafe De Paris in London’s West End last week. The awards are voted for by the clients of the wedding professionals, and it is the only one of it’s kind in the industry. The atmosphere was electric, and the location perfect. It’s a very exciting time to be part of the industry. Dave x
