If you follow my Instagram, you’ll notice I spend a lot of time in Barcelona these days. I love the city- it’s atmosphere, architecture.. the fact you can be on the beach within minutes of leaving the Gothic Quarter… but mostly I love the people. Cataluynians are so welcoming and great hosts. Sarah and Daniel’s celebrations began at a traditional tapas restaurant the night before their wedding at Santa Anna church. A surprise they had organised for their guests was a traditional band serenading the wedding party through the streets after dinner. The next day, after getting ready at the W Hotel, we headed for a first look next to the ocean, before taking the chance to get some photos around the city. After their ceremony, the whole wedding party was transported through the old streets on bicycles, the final destination being the incredible Palau Moxo, a former merchants (and patron of Gaudi) city residence. It seemed like they experienced the best of Barcelona in 2 days and it was an honour to be there to document their celebrations. Thank you guys for having me along it was a trip that will stay with me for a long time. Big thanks go to Catherine for helping me out, and Val & Mireia from Weddings Via Val for their expert planning! David
