This time last year I was running to catch a plane to Beziers to shoot at the amazing Chateau Les Carrrasses (See that shoot here), after shooting an editorial inspired by the Great Gatsby (See shoot here) the day before. And I visited my favourite place in the world, Paris. It was FUN. This January, with all the overcast weather and a fairly quiet month, I’ve been looking back at January last year and thinking how awesome it was. I’m planning things for this year which will be epic, and ALL of the couples who’s weddings I’m shooting this year are such cool people- from Suffolk in March to Cornwall in October, I’ll be capturing the story of their big days across the UK and beyond and I can’t wait.

In the meantime, this cheered me up on a cold January day.

This is one of three images I have had published on Italian Vogue’s website! Being published on Italian Vogue is a milestone for my editorial work and has definitely cheered me up! I’ll be starting to photograph 2013’s couple’s engagement shoots soon in the spring, and nothing makes me more happy than doing this- photographing people in love. My editorial work gives me the chance to practise my creativity, the experience of which I’ll be using to discreetly capture the story of my couples weddings.. cant wait.
